Mitchell accepts briefs in all areas of law, with a particular interest in competition and consumer law, employment and industrial law, and administrative law. Prior to being called to the Bar, Mitchell was a Lawyer at Clayton Utz in Sydney where he specialised in commercial litigation, competition law, consumer law, and regulatory investigations. Earlier in his career, Mitchell served as the Associate to the Honourable Justice Wigney and, subsequently, the Honourable Justice Owens, both of the Federal Court of Australia. Mitchell’s education includes a Juris Doctor (Distinction) and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales. Mitchell is also a headnote reporter for the Federal Law Reports.
