Nicola practices in general commercial and public law. Prior to being called to the Bar, Nicola worked as a Senior Associate in the Public Law Team at MinterEllison and as an Associate to the Hon Justice JS Gleeson in both the High Court of Australia and the Federal Court of Australia. Prior to this, Nicola worked as a lawyer within the Office of the Solicitor Assisting the Disability Royal Commission and as a lawyer in the Dispute Resolution Team at the Australian Government Solicitor in Canberra. Nicola graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts (Government) and a Bachelor of Laws with Honours. She later completed a Master of Laws at the London School of Economics, where she graduated with Distinction. She has previously held sessional academic positions at the University of Sydney and the Australian National University. Her research interests are defamation law, climate change litigation and the interactions between constitutional and tort law. Nicola is a member of the NSW Bar Association’s Accessibility Panel.
