Tom accepts briefs in all areas of commercial litigation. Tom was admitted as a solicitor in 2009 and called to the Bar in 2019. Prior to being called to the Bar, Tom gained a diverse range of experience including as a solicitor at Minter Ellison, in management and operational roles at a leading ASX listed healthcare company, and as a secondee at the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration. As a solicitor, Tom has practised in a variety of areas, including personal and corporate insolvency, contractual disputes, and property disputes. While in industry, Tom also performed in-house legal roles and led the human resource and employment law function for a two-thousand strong workforce. Since being called to the Bar, Tom has appeared led in a number of commercial dispute matters across a range of jurisdictions, and appeared unled in the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety. Tom holds degrees in Law and Commerce.
