John accepts briefs in several areas of law and has a particular interest in commercial litigation (including arbitrations and class actions) in addition to administrative and constitutional law. Prior to being called to the Bar, John was a Senior Associate in Herbert Smith Freehills’ class actions team where he worked on leading product liability and shareholder class actions. He also has experience in administrative law and with government clients. John has a Master of Law from the University of Cambridge, as well as a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney. He achieved each degree with First Class Honours.
