Lewis Hamilton accepts briefs to advise and appear in all areas of law, and is most extensively experienced in consumer protection, superannuation and trusts, torts and employment law. In 2019 Lewis was selected by his peers as a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards in the ‘Litigation’ category. Lewis is committed to improving access to justice and to that end also accepts legal aid and community legal centre briefs. Prior to coming to the Bar, Lewis worked as a solicitor at Maurice Blackburn, where he gained extensive experience in representative proceedings. As a solicitor, Lewis appeared in the Federal Court of Australia, and also in major constitutional law proceedings in the High Court of Australia.
