Alessandro accepts briefs in all areas of law. Before being called to the Bar, Alessandro practiced as a solicitor for over eight years, with a practice spanning environmental, planning, property, construction and public law. He has had carriage of matters in the Supreme Court of NSW and Court of Appeal, the Federal Court of Australia and the Land and Environment Court. His experience includes: compulsory acquisition; land tax appeals; environmental tort litigation involving nuisance and contamination; environmental offences, investigations and compliance; real property litigation involving easements, lease disputes and appointment of trustees; the leading NSW case on the validity of subpoenas;and l local government law, including council powers and councillor misconduct.
